BAKE’s freshly baked cheese tarts have their origins in Kinotoya, a long-established Western confectionery store in Sapporo, Hokkaido. Our tarts started out as delectable chilled blueberry cheese tarts.
A mousse made with three different types of cheese. This brings out the wonderful flavor of the ingredients. Cheese from Hakodate in Hokkaido is distinctive for its mild flavor, while cheese made in Betsukai is full-bodied. We skillfully balance and blend these with a saltier French cheese.
Bake Cheese tart pastry is created from cookies. To make them even more crunchy and delicious, they bake them once just as cookies, then bake them all over again with the cheese mousse on top to create a twice-baked pastry.
